Kimberley Loves Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound
I’m a ‘farm kid’ from Proton Township – raised with 7 sisters in the high, flat farming country at the bottom of Grey County. Like many farm kids, my education and career took me away from my home community – and brought me back again.
I made the decision to run for Liberal candidacy because I’m absolutely passionate about this riding. We live in one of the most beautiful parts of Ontario. We have the people, we have the resources, but we need a clear, articulate, persuasive voice in Ottawa. And it’s precisely because I have lived and worked in both rural and urban Canada — on Bay Street, Main Street and the ‘back forty’ — that I believe I have the skills and perspective to represent the people of this riding.
I believe that Canadians are ready for a fresh, Liberal vision for this country. And I believe that this riding – Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound — is ready to turn the page. We’re ready for a promising, prosperous, positive future. And I believe that I can help to make that happen.
