The Year My Parents Went on Vacation

Mauro, a 12 year old, is sent to his grandfather as his left-wing activist parents go into hiding. The parents do not now that grandfather has just died. The story tells of the places Mauro goes and the people he meets in the ensuing days. In the process, he discovers that life can be both bitter and sweet. Running time 104 minutes, rated PG.
