“Fall in Love with me and take me home, Schmichael is a lovely black and white medium haired female cat as gentle as they come. She was surrendered by her previous owner of eight years and she’s noticeably heartbroken. Schmichael was used to a quiet home and it took her quite some time to adjust to the busier environment at the shelter. Schmichael would be happy to just curl up on your couch or at your feet. Being an older kitty, her demanding days are past and her concentration now is on becoming your best friend. Will you give this gentle little soul a second chance? We’re sure you won’t be disappointed. If you are interested in Schmichael, please call GBAR @ 705-445-5204 and leave a message or EMAIL US
Every day, Georgian Bay Animal Rescue welcomes stray, abandoned and unwanted animals. We make sure they receive food, a warm place to stay and veterinary care to give all of the animals in our care a second chance – a chance for a new home where they will be cherished companions for the rest of their lives
Georgian Bay Animal Rescue and our dedicated volunteers work so very hard to make room for “just one more”, caring for them, educating the public about the critical need to spay and neuter their pets, with a determined goal of ending pet overpopulation.
Please help us with our cause by making a financial contribution towards the every day costs that we incur to help these animals because the animals depend on your generosity.

Sharlie and Spike are beautiful Bluetick Coonhound / Rottweiler crosses. Due to circumstances beyond their control, they are looking for a new home where they can continue to grow and enrich the lives of their new family with their sweet and gentle nature. Sharlee is 1 1/2 years old; she has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. She has one of the most endearing qualities in that her tongue sticks out (just a little!) most of the time. She also gets along wonderfully with children and is gentle mannered. Spike, Sharlie’s father, is also a loving boy who is 7 years old. He is named “Spike” because of his tail which is “spikey” and short in appearance! He is a gentle mannered dog who is quite bonded with Sharlie, therefore a home together for these two wonderful dogs would be recommended. If you are interested in Sharlie and Spike, please call GBAR IMMEDIATELY and leave a message 705-445-5204.

John and Keeley,
What a wonderful website and wonderful contributions on behalf of all of the people looking to help animals, and for the animals themselves. Fantastic! What a pleasure reading as much of this website as time allows!
Your very kind Brenda, thanks for taking the time to leave your thoughts.
I’ll pass on the message to the author. She will be thrilled and encouraged, to say the least.
